A very well composed image of your visitor - they are such noisy insects - the focus appears a little blurred but the color of the locust is very realistic.

Thank you for reviewing. Comment noted and I have reloaded the original without cropping. I think that the crop caused the lack of sharpness.

That's quite interesting,Brenda!
My Wiccan associates have a 'theory' about small creatures that visit us over and over again but I won't get into that here! ( It's confusing! )
Anyway,since no locusts will be turning up around here until much later in the Summer I'm having a great time looking at your picture of this fine specimen,my friend!
It's a photo that has your wonderfully 'Out of the Ordinary' tone to it and that always makes for a really 'Good Show'!

( Some Wiccans think the small creatures contain the spirits of dead people who cared about us when they were living humans! It's a nice thought but it's a little bit scary too! )

Now that is scary. You put into words a strange feeling I get when he lands on me. He seems to look directly at me via eyes and I feel I know him. Dohhhh!
