A very fine shot. I like the light and the way that this little one has grown past the stage where they have those wiry yellow hairs on their heads. Very good detail in the feet and excellent colors.

An Interesting baby coot that shows an emotions that is left alone, nobody to play with.

Fred,
I hate to disagree with you but that is a Eurasian Coot chick..look at it's large black unwebbed feet... This does not take away for this beautiful stop action picture of the Coot chick voicing it's opinion loudly. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

The photo of this Canada goslin is amazing..taking pictures is savoring life intensely,every hundredth of a second.you have found something in an ordinary place and it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them..I like the light and dark color tones all throughout..very nice job
