This Allium is charming. The white flowers look beautiful among the surrounding greenery. Your photo is perfect focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The frame is adequate. The Allium is excellently placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

I could swear I saw patches of this in my childhood, when we lived at Elsham Refugee Camp. Mum had a huge bust up with the nuns at the school all of us kids went to at Brigg /divorced mum-You must leave your husband! When the Pope looks after my child and me, then I will leave him- grabbed me by the hand and took me home./ I and a german girl on the camp went to Elsham County Council school. I used to walk miles to Elsham through farmers fields and beautiful countryside. It was so lovely I remember it still, gauze on the bushes in early autumn. It was then I am sure I saw patches of these beautiful plant- garden escapes as you call them.

It's more than likely you did see this around Elsham in Lincolnshire as it's native to both of these Islands.

A very pretty composition here! I like the tall framing that highlights the flowers. The contrasts are well defined and the white of the flowers is balanced. Excellent focus that shows so many fine details of the flowers and background. Nice work that is pleasing to view!

What a lovely flower! There are so many species we could post two a day for a year and not have captured them all. Who knew this would be this pretty? Good job capturing nature like a portrait!
