Cat up in my tree

Wow the cat wasn't scared of you. He/she must be friendly, especially being your neighbor's cat. I love how you blurred out the background. It made the cat pop out so nice. If I wasn't mistaking it looks like it's up in a tree??? Do what??? Cat in a tree??? Lol!!! Again you deserve the highest score because you are just plain good like that.

Thank you so very much Shannon! I am honored by your six stars ! I felt so sorry for this poor cat, fortunately he was able to get down and go home safely.

This one looks like an Alaskan cat; it is sure no lap kitty. A very nice shot that captures that critical gaze very well. A very nice black and white with a good range of tones.

Thanks so much Mike! This was a pretty large cat indeed! Twice the size of Oliver !

A great black and white close up portrait of the cat in tree. Your focus on the eyes is spot on and your white balance and exposure are excellent. The cats fur and whiskers are shown with great clarity.

Yes she is a beauty and on high alert. Great detail and focus. It is amazing how they are so agile. I don't think she will visit anytime soon. Her memory of your beautiful big dogs are too fresh. Nicely captured.

Great capture Pat. Deserves to be Recognized. Love that this is in B&W. So, your dogs scared it up a tree! Lucky they didn't pounce on it - but it gave you the opportunity for a great shot. Wonderful composition, framing, focus and dof. Thanks for sharing.

I absolutely love this! You captured so much intensity in this photo, I can feel every bit of it. The sharpness is perfect and I'm sure the color photo was great too but I'm glad you went with black and white. Great job!

A very nice capture of your neighbours cat. Looking to see where your dogs are by that expression. I like that you chose a portrait style...it suits this shot. Details around nose and eyes bring a clever fused focus that compliments the soft furry affect of the rest. I like the presentation using that tree branch to balance and add more complimentary interest
