Oh my Goodness!!!! This is the most Beautiful piece you have ever created Miss Brenda. Wowzzers! This is beyond Amazing...The bright & Bold colors you have weaved together compliment each other. ( I like Bright & Bold ). Bold colors a artist uses shows not only skill but rather confidence and risk to change the ordinary. Van Gogh sure would have strong competition if his was alive. Wow what a great re here and thank you for 6 stars. I do appre hate those comments, I love bold and bright and often think may be I do it too strongly. Not all galleries are in favour, so one owner told me but I can appreciate wishy washy but prefer colour saturation and definition. I looked at yiur work and J see you too as you say love the b and b

what are alcohol pens? Good job some of my kids never heard of them. One boy to whom I gave tuition told me /and he was believable- sorry but some kids have no idea of the difference between lies and truth, same as some adults/ Miss, there are drug sellers outside the school gates, and you see those pens, they fill them up with drugs and then sit in class sucking them. I knew about the drug sellers, as we got police on horses every 3.30pm but the kids often refuse to talk to their English teachers, who often faugn which they don't trust or ignore their culture. You will have to try the same technique for a Portuguese cafe now. When I was at art college, one of our first tasks was to copy a Master, to see how the work had been created using our own techniques.

Alcohol pens are great they are pigment suspended in an alcohol fluid. They mix well, tone etc big choice of colours and vmcan use on a number of materials. Google them.. loads of pictures and colours. I got my first via Amazon and they were expensive, since I have bought much cheaper and they are good too. They usually have brush one end and a thick wedge marker the other end.

I really like this drawing! It is definitely similar to Van Gogh's painting, but I can see a few differences. I think I like your drawing just as much, if not more than the original! (sorry Van Gogh:) the original painting is still very beautiful, I just really like yours:) Good luck in the contest!

Wow thank you and what an occolade... poor van Gogh but without him I would not know about him lol.... i believe you can still go to this cafe and stand where he did.
