She looks like a modern Jeanne d'Arc [Joan of Arc]. Her expression is determined. Her young face is of unusual beauty. I love this drawing..you can definitely see the emotions in her face and just by her facial expression, tell she is alert,aware and ready to rejoin the battle..I also like the sideways pose of her..it's something different and I'm glad you went in that direction..the bold and vibrant red on the shield makes the drawing pop and overall you have created a well drawn piece that you should be proud of
