This is very impressive painting of this girl, especially her facial expression that looks so real.
Great colors, details, nice brush strokes and overall so pleasing to view.
Cleo, thank you for sharing.

Great digital artwork and nice portrait of a young girl from her side profile. I enjoy the texture and color of her skin and hair. They appear so real. Also there is a nice expression through her eyes with full of curiosity. The art definitely gives viewers lots of thoughts about this young girl. Nicely presented artwork.

Cool,Cleo!
The hospital that I worked for during the main,pre- Brain Injury disabled, portion of my career used to arrange medical 'expeditions' to Central American countries frequently too!
But that has little to do with my enjoyment of this interesting and attractive digital creation that you've presented us with!
I'm not all that much 'up' on the Mayans ( of modern or ancient times ) but I'm fascinated by
artistic renditions of
attractive women ( Yes! I'm an 'old goat' but that's just how it is! : ) ) and your painting of this young lady looks Great!

A very compelling image. Even with a profile angle, the expression on her face is still discernible. This makes me want to see more of her surroundings and observe others nearby.

Hi Cleo, this is such a lovely digital painting of this Maya Girl, I like the side profile pose allowing a good look at her facial shape and features, I like her dark hair that she wears pulled back and fastened into a ponytail with a red tie that matches her dress, she wears small hoop earrings which you show very well. She appears to be looking at someone or something .
Well shown skin tones and I like the background you have placed her in , it shows that this is in a warm dry location.
Very well created with such realistic detail , well shown light and shadows.
Nicely composed and presented!

This is an equate Digital painting of this young girl.
The attention to details, especially of her face and expression are well done.
The colors are complimentary to her skin tone and the pink color of the band in her hair, earing and shirt. The background has a feel of the Maya culture and adds to complete the scene.
I like that you show the brush strokes here in this piece. It is very nice to view.

I would love to see the other version if possible...but this version you say is more interesting..there is no such thing as "more interesting" in the art world..everything you put on paper wether it be from paint or a pencil is amazing right from the start..your taking your creativity(something that's completely yours) and your expressing yourself with something that is more powerful and meaningful than words can explain.when I look at this photo, it tells me all I need to know..that this individual has a passion for her craft and I also see devotion and determination and that is truly why I enjoyed seeing this piece

Thank you very much for your encouraging comments.
This is not a photo. This is a painting. I used my photos only as reference. Sorry, my wording is misleading. I should probably have used "more meaningful". I used the current version because the girl without her body paint and costume looks like a member of the audience rather the an actor on a break. :o)
