Quite a striking and attention grabbing image posted here! Never seen a moon image so large and imposing. Wonder what it is rising over or setting on? Nicely painted!

thank you. Have you ever been out at night and the moon seems to take over everything, glistening around you, particulary the fields in Bavaria and more southern climes? This is less about the place or which phase of the moon, more about that! In China, on some evenings you went out and the moon was exactly like that but bright orange with red rings, huge - I couldn't believe its colour and just used to stand there and stare, though the locals did not seem to notice it.
