Photography is the art of observation..it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them..the shallow depth of this frame is perfect, it allows the viewer to get an up close view of this dragonfly..the details in it are good..only thing I noticed was the background..I feel perhaps you could have utilized that space with something instead of nothing..other than that I always enjoy viewing your photos..great job!...and I was trying to discourage you my friend, only encourage you

Good capture of this Dragonfly. The close up gives the viewer an uncommon look at the interesting details.
The wings looks like woven spider web.

A beautiful picture of the Black-tailed Skimmer Dragonflyperched on the tip of a branch overhanging the lake. The light highlighting the finest details of it's gossamer wings, head, thorax & abdomen. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
