Love the papery texture of the petals of the poppy which is shown with great clarity. The color really pops out against the green background. Nicely composed with good focus.

This Poppy is beautiful. Then play of light and shadow on the petals and the dark center is interesting. The Poppy seems to glow. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The Poppy is well placed within the frame. Although, there are other framing options also, the centered placement of the flower warrants a good balance of composition.

The poppy is beautiful , I like this rich red/ orange color on the petals with the deep toned center detail.

Having had a special Fascination with Poppy flowers and with the opium alkyloids extracted from the bulbs of a certain subspecies of them for a long time ( for my entire twenty plus year long career in Pharmacy actually! ) I'm very impressed with your beautiful photograph of this vibrantly colorful blossom,Brian!

Having had a special Fascination with Poppy flowers and with the opium alkyloids extracted from the bulbs of a certain subspecies of them for a long time ( for my entire twenty plus year long career in Pharmacy actually! ) I'm very impressed with your beautiful photograph of this vibrantly colorful blossom,Brian!

ROFLAMO!!! im not artist dude!..im a cartoonist..surely in your lifetime you have looked at cartoons? there is a big difference from them and us. ohno! dont tell me your folks never let you view any cartoons on tv or have any comics when you were a kid? that would suck!!..as you grew up and seeing ads with cartoons all the way today..surely you dont ignore them?..they use us for label on products. surely you have seen that when shopping? me i dont know one darn thing about photography..really dont care to..but i have 2 eyeballs and i know if it is clear to see in the photo..and it is not dim to where i can see the image.. also if the angle the photographer shot is it is balanced, appealing, or interesting..that much i know because of what i call i have common sense..so good try Brian..just tell me you dont want to review the work..that is more a honest answer..wink wink..
