This truly is colorful art. Nice shading with your pens and sharpie. She looks like she is enjoying the paradise. I feel like you could do with a little less shading on the face. Especially under the eyes. Otherwise, nice job.

opinions varied but i disagree with yours..dont worry..i view it as an opinion..if you have 10 artist draw the same thing you will still get 10 different versions of the approach. wink..thanks for the review

Excellent entry for the contest, Mark. Filled with so much colour and detail as only you can do! You say this was a Commission work so I'm guessing that this little Princess is based on someone you know. She looks very realistic. Great composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

This certainly is as colorful and cute as it can be. It is very appropriate in keeping with the theme. What an outstanding job using the materials you used. certain features even look realistic. What wonderful design. It pulls together so well.

well this is Supergolds granddaughter. he has commissioned me before. see i wont do regular portraits..i like to know a lil something about who i am drawing about. now we all know Supergolds lil angel here who has take numerous captures and posted here before. asked him how does he want me to do it this time and i gave him multiple ideas. he choose the island scene. since i have numerous images of her faces that gives me a 3D idea of what angle i want to put her. so you can say all of this is an original idea..im known for that...wink. thanks for the great review.

The subtle color tone changes you used on her face give her so much warmth and a realistic expression. I love all the detail you put into the flower crown and lei and how you were able to achieve a depth of field by giving such strong detail to the forefront of green leaves while blurring the grass behind her. Beautiful, realistic portrait of a very happy girl. You got this contest!
