A beautiful piece of artwork depicting a lone wolf howling beneath a full moon and it's wispy veil of clouds. I like the moonlight illuminating the tops of the trees as well as the wolf's breath,definitely must be a bit chilly! Definitely a great choice for this contest,wish you all the best!

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of a handsome moon howler. Maybe they howl because the want the moon to stop shining so that they can sleep? Nicely created!

Impressive digital art painting with a perfectly balanced composition and the details are making the us to hear the sound of the Timberwolf hauling at the bright full moon.
The light shining from the sky is nicely showing the Wolf and peaks of the dark forest.

I have heard coyates howl after they have successfully killed in a hunt and it was beautiful until my neighbour yelled out the window to make them stopped, yes they were that close lol,, some people do not appreciate wilderness. This is very nice to look at, the moon in that sky is fantastic, love the breath of the howling wolf

I agree with your comments. I have heard a pack of wolves howing at night, it actually made the hair stand up on my neck it was that dramatic. Added benefit it was also during the Northern lights.

This is a truly great entry into a contest like this, because I can indeed almost hear it. I especially like your color pallet keeping the wolf and forest in monochrome hues, while the sky and the moon have strong colors.
Your brush work is really good, and the wolf is done paying very good attention to details. I also like the way you have used high lights.
The format and framing is perfect, and with the wolf off to the left balanced by the moon to the right, it is a very fine balance in the composition. I think this is a lovely and well done digital painting Allan, and I wish you luck with the contest.
