Excellent idea and fantastic combination - it feels like being in another world as your water combination is so excellent and clear that it creates much more energy as seeing it live - fantastic details, splendid work - thanks for sharing - I am still stuck in EU as a guest with a terrific internet connection - today is a special day...

Yes I was happy to be back too, but I am blocked in germany and from the day I placed the 2 angels I got cut off again from my access - they tell me that the page is not safe - it is crazy. Now I am some days In Switzerland and thought to try out if I can enter and here I am again. Waiting for the moment until I can return home to Paraguay.... I miss you too, and I am happy to be able to answer now - great job as always

Great creative presentation of
Catching A Wave.
Love the title. It can also be symbolic of many lifestyles.
Nice perspective here looking like a barrel or tube wave. You have a created a rhythm as the waves flow in a circular motion.
The variations of the color blue and the details throughout are very well done. Nice tone. And, surfer is perfectly situated within the frame. (Maybe Laird Hamilton) lol.
The surfer seems to be enjoying
her/him-self. Good figurework.
Pleasing to view. God luck in the contest,

A great entry to the water contest! This surfer shooting through the barrel is interesting and we want to cheer for his great accomplishment! Realistic details of the water are well done and we get the feel of it! Best wishes!

Mark, I love this artwork of "Catching a Wave" and great for the Water Art Contest. So clever how you have worked the light and shading to look so wave like. The man looks so small indicting a very large wave. Excellent work and all the best in the contest!

This piece reminds me of Point Break - a fave movie of mine. Swayze and Keanu! The color of the waves is so realistic! Perfect! Great piece!

We see this on tv but I have never seen it though I believe they do this down on the south coast. Love this version, it is excellently drawn and produced as always - superb.

That WOULD NOT be me. I'm sure it provides a rush for people that enjoy this sort of thing. I love the way you portrayed the circular effect of the wave. The blues are stunning. The person on the surf board looks very small up against the huge wave.

Depth perception..its a start of long wave..your seeing down at the beginning..they zoom pretty fast in this tunnel hoping not to wipe out. Thanks for the great review.

Quite a stark and dramatic image posted here! Your fine and appropriate composition offers us a dramatic view of that wave and surfer. Colours and tones are good. Well created and good luck!
