Interesting shot. The photo captures the twists and the holes/divits in the trunk. Great photo of a very unique tree trunk that looks as if it has legs with feet and can walk away. the photo Best of luck.

I have noticed that olive trees has the most fantastic tree trunks, but I have never seen any yet as spectacular as this one. It almost looks like some sort of monster. I especially like that you have focused on the trunk instead of the tree as a whole.
The photo is sharp and it is both clear details and fine textures to be seen in the trunk. Also the exposure is very good.
The photo s nicely cropped and the trunk has got a fine placement within the frame. I think this is a great looking and well taken photo Fred, and with a very good DOF.

This is indeed a very interesting tree. Thanks for sharing it. It is a clear subject. I wonder if it would be a little more striking if that's possible, by taking it from more of the sunshine view.

I wonder how old this olive tree might be. I like the way it is isolated in the open like that. It really brings the contorted trunk to our full attention.
