Great photograph of this tiny bird enjoying bubble bath in the fountain.
What a great timing to capture this image with great clarity and detail. Wonderful eye contact, colors and overall pleasing presentation Susan!

Great shot here! I have never seen this kind of bird before, thanks for the background info as well. You captured the multitude of colours very well. The composition is eye catching. Even the water is frozen in motion, your focus is great! Thanks for sharing

Your description if the bird intrigues me and I hope you have gotten a shot of this bird sitting still as well.
This is a nice clear capture showing just a hint of red behind its tiny head. Really good shot! Thank you for sharing.

I had to check what 9cm actually looked like and it is about the size of the middle finger on your hand, which is not very big. You can just see its stripey hair do. How you spotted it at that size is beyond me, but my vision is now very poor. I see you are at number 7 spot in the rankings. Well done Susan! I wonder what mixed media photography is-painting plus photography mayhap?

ah- so it is not like the art thing where they actually draw lines without lifting a pen. They are lovely crations, but do not know how to gauge them, only from the eye, like a flower in my garden!! I would like to start a page somewhere, hand drawn art work only! I tried on fb but didn't know how to. Easy to start business pages, selling, but not pure art..and other like minded! Thank you dear Susan for taking time to explain.

Lovely find and capture Susan. The colors appear to be very realistic and your composition and focus are good. Always great to see a bird that isn't common. :)

This little bird is cute. I like its confident pose. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail and texture. The bird is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced. I also appreciate the interesting comments about the species very much.

This certainly is a small bird!
I guess that's about three inches plus for this one?
Great that you finally got to capture it. Some birds are just to quick. They fly by in a wink of an eye. Good focus here and details. Nice clarity and techniques. Thanks for sharing the information.
Pleasure to view.
