Very nicely captured showing the beauty of the underwater world. What camera and flash or light do you use to capture this subject? I like the lighting.

Thank you very much. I only use an iPhone for my photography. In this case it was at an aquarium. Since the subject was behind glass I did not use a flash. I used Smart Photo Editor to do the after photo work ~ Steve

This is super cool, I dig it. I like the focus of it. I don't know the lingo but it's visually stimulating and I like the way it's laid out. The blue is striking, thanks buddy

Congratulations on winning the photograph of the month ! This is perfectly titled , the jellyfish is indeed elegant and deadly, you have captured it so very well, with good focus, this image is clear the lighting makes this so special, it's intriguing the way it seems to glow.
Very well composed with a perfect placement within the frame , the deep blue water allows it to stand out so we can get such a good look at it! These are fascinating to view . Awesome work ! It definitely deserves to be All Time Best!

I love the collection of the jellyfish that you captured with excellent details and such beautiful dark blue background.
Was it in aquarium or in the nature? I would like to take photograph there too.
Thank you for sharing!

Thank you very much Jirina for your review. This was taken at an aquarium. The one thing you need to be aware of is the reflection in the glass. You have to move around a bit.

I like the nautical blue of the water and the way the Jelly seems to glow. Looks like a mushroom growing under water.
Nice low key style with a fine use of light to highlight the Jelly in action.
Nicely Done Captain ;)

Woah! Man, I'm still new to this awesome website, so I had to give this 5 stars. I dont know how, if we are able, to read the information about this picture. Is it real? A drawing? Made by a computer maybe? I'm a big believer in a good, but prefer perfect, title to a piece. This title really creates alot of wonder, for me at least, not just in how this was made, but what it is and what is going on. The deadly sounds negative and elegance is Obviously positive. However, straightforward pieces aside, a jewel of a piece has some level of wonder implanted, polished slightly with curiosity glaze. My only guess here is this creature (underwater maybe) has laid eggs and during the process it does not survive. The elegance is the laying of the eggs, in such a beautiful spot/plant bed at that. That is what I will have to believe until I figure out how to navigate the website! Lol. Very lively and great capture of rich prominent strong colors, particularly one of the first fraternities, the Que Dogs. Purple represents royalty, mobility, and power. And who doesnt love gold! Awesome piece.

Thank you very much for your review. I am a member of the Welcome Committee so if you have any questions about the site please feel free to ask. Normally an artist will comment on their work immediately below the image. I don't remember if I commented or not but apparently I did not. This is a photo of a Jellyfish that I shot at an aquarium in Tennessee. The Jellyfish was slowly undulating in the water along with many others. I shot about 100 pictures of all these lovely creatures, mostly on Burst Mode, to hopefully get a few worth keeping. I used an iPhone 11. I take all my photos with an iPhone. I use Smart Photo Editor for all my after photo work. Thank you again for your great review ~ iPhone7

Thank you so much my man Lucas. These are such cool creatures.

How are you doing? Will you be going back to school in person? Please bring me up to date on what's happening ~ Captain Steve

    Capitan,
I am going to start my first year of high school this year. Yes, in person, and at a brand new school.

Ah. Freshman year. You go from BMOC (Big man on campus - eighth grade) to low man on the totem pole. Seniors seem so Big and Mature. Enjoy it. High school go VERY fast. Trust me. All of a sudden you are a Senior (BMOC). The college and right back to low man on the totem pole. LOL. They Both go so quickly. You will see that one day my friend. THE main thing: Enjoy yourself and others.

A wonderful photo of this deadly, but beautiful jelly,I have never seen one(other than photos) so this must have been a fantastic opportunity to view and photograph. Love the detailing and the great color saturation, the purple really makes the golden color pop, making this quite an eye catcher. A very artistic capture!
