I find the stamen of a flower is more fascinating than the actual flower petals. Great positioning in the picture. Clarity of the stamen is good.

This is a great shot! Your focus is bang on! I have never looked at a lily this close, the stamens actually look like pecans, who knew?!
I also like that you the background petals are pale in colour as to not take away from the details you captured. Great entry to the contest here, good luck

I think this is a beautiful entry into this contest Soulfeeder, and you have indeed pictured the stamens and pistil of this lovely lily well. The light is falling on them in such a lovely way, and they are standing out from the softened flower in an excellent way.
The focus is spot on and sharp, and it is truly clear and well defined details to be seen in the stamens and pistil. The exposure is perfect.
The photo is nicely cropped, and the stamens are so well placed within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I appreciate the sharpness of detail and the realism of color and light. The square framing is sufficient. The flower center is well placed within the frame. The slightly diagonal framing pleases the eyes of the viewer. The macro is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
