Wow talk about detail, I am a little confused about the process..it is all digital or it was painted then enhanced digitally? Either way technical apsects are exceptional, I would expect to see this in a bird book.

It is painted digitally, but in traditional style. My program [ArtRage] allows to choose canvas or art paper textures and the tools I wish to use [brushes, pencil etc.], and mix my colors. Then o paint like I would on canvas, just that I move my brushes with my fingers on a touch pad. It is a bit like finger painting, although more complicated. :o)

This is a unique piece. I like the composition you chose. It really makes the bird's eye the main focal point. The blue highlights the determined expression these birds usually have. I like the movement you created in the background, it nicely contrasts the stillness of the bird. Well done, thanks for sharing

This is a truly beautiful Dove with the light blur colors around the red eye, and You have pictured it so well. I especially like the background with the great textures, and the colors also go so well together with the colors of the bird.
The smoothness of the brush strokes of the birds are so well done, and as usual you have paid such good attentions to detail. Very good use of high lights as well.
The format and framing is perfect and the Dove has got such a fine placement on the canvas. I think this is a truly lovely and well done digital painting Cleo. Sorry I don't have any 6 stars left, because this work is indeed worth a higher rating.

This is an interesting view of the
White winged dove. I have only see the dark morning dove? This one is pretty. Good close
up of the texture and facial details, especially the eye with the lovely blue that appears to trail into the beak. It is enjoyable to see. Nice background brush and digital work.
