He is amazing. I love how you caught him in mid flight the position is just so breath taking. The water in the background is beautiful. It is just a really cool picture

Such a gorgeous bird! You we're lucky to capture such a creature, indeed. It is unfortunate that the background doesn't give you good contrast, this making it difficult to see clearly.
You live in a nice area!

Thank you so much ! The background is the bank of a river

I understand why the background was and you can?t really change that without losing the integrity of the photo. Just my observation

Wow the detail is amazing of the Bald Eagle in flight. The colors are quite dramatic with the lighting perfect. Great focus and a very good stop action image.

Superb image full of action and energy. Great expression captured as well. The eagle seems very intently focused. I especially like the ripples in the water from where his wings touched the surface briefly.

This is such a spectacular catch, all the feathers are seen here in action as this magnificent bird goes into flight, they practically get incognito with the background matching their colours here

Wonderful image of this bald Eagle with the light shining and showing his impression and details on the wings. He does not look very friendly, probably still looking for his prey.
It looks like it was late in day and the mood is set for the night.
Thank you for sharing Pat!

What a wonderful pic of this juvenile bald eagle! You stopped action wonderfully! I love how his wing tips are barely touching the water, it looks so cool! It is in amazing focus, and I love the expression on the eagles face! I feel terrible that I am out of six stars! This deserves six stars!
AMAZING job!

I must say that apart from being envious of the landscape you find Pat,also the wildlife you see on your travelling, this is a good one of a bird in flight and although its color slightly blends in with the background there is enough detail to make it stand out...Brian

Thanks very much Brian! The background is the bank of the river, this was late at night but the sun was still shining from behind me
