Pat,
A beautiful & dramatic looking sky with the clouds rising up from behind the mountains on the far side of the lake...A scene that could be in Ireland though the house is very different. In the Foreground I can see what we call Rosebay Willow Herb & I think you call Fire weed ~ Chamaenerion angustifolium for us it's one of the first signs of the approaching Autumn. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Colors beautifully complimentary!
The activity in the sky makes for a story to tell just by one glance. I always feel that is important in good imagery.
So you take a pic of an old typewriter for instance, I look at it and say, "okay it's a typewriter. So what." Add a cup of coffee and a pair of glasses with wads of paper next to it and my imagination can have some fun.
The blue roof on the building and the reflections in the water are all a part of this setting. I can picture a picnic table just outside the perimeters. ;)

I could get tired of this view after about a hundred years or so... Fantastic drama captured here. I can almost feel the energy in the atmosphere. The scene just begs for further exploration as well.
