Another intriguing and mysterious image. I just have to know more about this lock! Then there is the logo on the head of the key. Story telling potential is off the chart with this one! And of course, the technical expertise is beyond compare. Great job!

I like this as a visual image and the clear message that goes with it,don,t no whether a b/w or even a sepia would have been stronger,i also like the way the padlock is in this,shows a bit of thought in this..Brian

Excellent realism with the key and lock. Up close, much of it is surrealism. Beautiful, unique photography. Has a little much red for my liking but as I look at it closer, it is a classic. Great job!

Yes, a preset was applied to this. I created a preset in lightroom (software for photography) that enhances specific details. Thank you for your kind review!

I also wonder why the lock and key are on edge rather that lying flat. Perhaps the back ground could be brightened a bit to accentuate the lock more.

To me this photo is very much about textures, and you have indeed brought them out well. I also like very much the red light, and the key and lock are standing out from this background in an excellent way.
The photo is very sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in both the lock and the key. You have also brought out a fine shine in both, and the exposure is spot on.
The square format works really well, and by the placement of the key and lock, it is a very good balance in the composition. I think this is a great looking and well taken photo Bill, and with an excellent DOF.
