This is very serene. I love the way you have blended so many beautiful shades of blue. I like that you didn't just throw the flower in there, but attached it to a branch of a tree. Beautiful colors in the magnolia.

Really good background and limb, branches especially for it being done in acrylic. I like the one leaf but would like the flower and leaf to be more realistic as the limb is.

This is a beautiful piece. The detail and shadowing you put into the branches really brings them to life. Their growth direction can be hard to mimic realistically, but you have done that nicely here. Your background is simple, yet adds depth. The colour is complimentary to the flower. Your flower is well shaped and sits nicely on the branch. I shaved half a star off because I think the lighting and colours of your flower could be a little more subtly blended. Magnolia's are almost milky smooth, and have ombre colour changes that make them a difficult subject. Overall, a great piece, thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.
