Modern art is not about depth or color, never about beauty.
It is intelectual, philosophical, psychological or can be used to protest something. None of the relevant artists during modern era talked about themselves as illustrators. Reading is a requirement.
Two weeks ago a statue of Buddha was sold in Italy. The action price realized $30.000,
What is interesting about the statue is: IT IS INVISIBLE
how would you review that art?The artist had a creativity block ? or accusing the artist of drug use ? calling him crazy? Maybe he could use your help.
The way you review art is poor because you can only talk about the image and it is irrelevant, the most important is the idea. Defamation is ok in this platform I guess. but outside here you would be the crazy one.
Yoko Ono wrote the grapefruit. Considered the most important book in modern art. The first edition of that book on eBay can be bought for $18000. Do sell books for $18000 dollars? Her artwork play by trust has been traveling the world for over 60 years. A recent article wrote by The Guardian ( between 5 most credible newspapers) wrote: play by trust more relevant than ever.
Do you have anything relevant like that? She was one of the pioneers of Flux movimento in Germany. She fought for world peace, she create the posters "the war is over...if you wanted". It was made in over twenty languages. A global campaign paid and created by her. She Fought against the Vietnam War. If you recall over 70% of the population in US was against that war and she was in DC protesting with the people. She is not even American, She is japonese. After Hiroshima I would never stand by Americans But she did. Were you there protesting in DC.
This morning I saw what you wrote about her. If some of my posts were deleted, why not delete the one you attacked Yoko Ono also? You feel proud about it? Do you think it should be the attitude of the second best artist of this platform? What you did reminds me the Nazy regime burning books. You should write a note apologizing about what you wrote calling her crazy woman. I feel deeply offended by your attack against an artist but even worse against a woman. I apologize to you in a way that anyone could read and I did not attack you personally. You can not judge art demanding every one to be an illustrator.
I live art and I feel sorry for the people using this platform. This system of points used by this platform is delusional. No one person here can describe art in an intectual way. The number one best artist here accordingly the rank doesn't even know who Marcel Duchamp was.
Don't stop believing yourself. You wrote it, it sounds like self help. Self help is not considered literature, it should never be use by a artist.
I am a ramble person and apologize to you even though you were wrong trying to critique something you had no knowledge about it. But I used some words that I should not.
I was wrong for that.
How do you feel about me doesn't matter, I am nobody.
But you were wrong about Yoko, respect woman specially the ones that fight for intolerance, against abuse, equality and world peace etc.

now do you feel good since you gave your 2 cents worth? so your so deeply in love with oko and thats ok..see you forgotten one important factor about human beings..one mans trash is another's treasure. i will say this ..if you would put that passion more into your creativity instead of having to explain your art..you would have that extra ump needed to shine. thru art show the world your passion and love for that you call an artist. i cant say the world will agree with you. however, some with your philosophy might agree with you..see i consider John Lennon as a true artist and Yoko just tagged along his coattails. she may be the love of his life but her music sounded like a chicken getting murdered. remember one mans trash is another's treasure. so just because my opinion feels that way about yoko you throw out this tantrum. come on son..this world is of art and expression. as an army vet who defended the constitution of free speech in my country, you welcome to express that and your welcome. i will not apologize for my opinion. here is my question back to you..should you apologize for Your opinions you just gave me? no because that is your opinion and your of expression. so you want to act your verbally beating me for my opinion..i find it comical and does show your age. no worries..your life is ahead of you and you will see. oh yeah when you review other members do it by their art that is posted...not their personal opinions..that would me mature of you..wink wink.
