Great shot here! You captured this beauty's personality with this pose. Great details captured with your focus abilities here. The light colour of the grass gives him nice contrast. Your background is nicely blurred to help him stand out even more. He is well placed in the shot, making a really nice composition. Well done, thanks for sharing

a wonderful entry to the "Nature Photo Contest" with this potential contest winner; I like the sweet look of this young deer very confident and relaxed despite your presence; excellent sharp details;

Nicely focused on the eyes of the little deer who has turned round to check out the photographer. The colors are very natural and your composition good.

    Is there something I can improve to make this a five?

This a interesting photo.
You captured a moment of the deer in a unique pose. I personally would have liked to see a little more of the neck so as the head has no awkwardness . I understand how difficult it can be to grab that special shot before it changes in a second.
Just a thought. Good focus and clarity. Nice facial details especially of the expressive eyes perhaps seeking attention.
Best to you in the contest .

Absolutely beautiful dear that is showing his velvety antlers and looking at you; almost asking to be petted.
Great colors and great details with the light spots on the coat.
Wonderful composition and so nicely framed with fresh green grass.
Great to view!

Beautiful and well photographed. You deserve a "6" for your detailed, natural-looking grass and deer with even light spots underneath his skin.

I love the way the deer is looking back at you...it's almost like he was posing for the photo! The only thing I would change is maybe crop it in so there's less space above the antlers. Good luck!

This is a really great photo. You caught a very interesting position of the deer. It's nice and clear set well in the green field. I especially like the unusual position.
