These Rose. Of Sharon must be a delightful snack for this array of insects. They are such a beautiful flower. You've captured them well. The background is a perfect color to enhance the beauty.

    Thank you very much.

Nicely composed image of the flowers which have very good exposure on the white petals. The blood red center really pops out. Bees are a little difficult to see clearly but overall a nice image.

I love this photo. It catches spring and fertility in this picture. The bee is just happily collecting nectar and will soon go onto the next flower. I also love how vibrate the colors show.

Thank you, thank you, and how honored I am to receive from you the "6". How kind. (I also did a drawing in color pencil of one Rose of Sharon, one bee, and back my background of various greenish leaves, should you like to view/review it.)

Thank you much. In the drawing I later presented in the summer competition, I drew a little more on the bee to be sure it was large enough, having been advised similarly. I'm learning and enjoying being on this side, admiring, and reviewing as possible, all the beautiful work.

Lovely flower with blood red centre. I can see the bee you transferred but can't really find the ants, but it is anyway a very lovely photo. I suspect you have a very good camera.

The ants are on the opposite side of the bee, on the other side of the blood-red center, I think. They seemed plainer before. Thank you kindly for your comments.

Thank you, Thank you. A six? Bless you and thank you again.

The flowers are beautiful. The white of the petals look like the color of milk on one of the commercials that makes milk look so yummy. You also have a nice background for the flowers. This would be 6 worthy if you had concentrated more on the bee. That is what the contest is about.

Don't know if I did a reply or not, but thanks so much. On my pencil drawing of a different Rose of Sharon, I concentrated really on it all as it took a fairly long time to complete the layers of colored pencil. Really appreciate your input.

I never have seen a rose like this. The looks more like a Hydrangea. But I'm not a plant expert. One thing you might do is increase the red in the middle.Make it POP.Also, when cropping if it is a square you want remember to center the subject. Keep the sides and top and bottom the same as the sides. I know the deal never center the subject. True. But not in a square. You have the top lighter than the bottom. Try to keep it either or. This darker. Make the subject pop out in front of you. Brighten up the white. Watch the background. The very top is a house. Don't need it. Fill with background. I hope I gave you idea what to do.

You sure did and thank you for your insightful, helpful advice. It is two Rose of Sharon together and the ants and bee. I wish I had just filled the background with black. The top was lighter like that but I could work on that too. Thanks again. You are very helpful.

I'm glad I made a difference. Some would not believe me.

Overall this image is very pleasing to the eye. The stems in the back give nice context, they also add a very relaxing feel to this image. The Rose of Sharon is really beautiful, nice contrast of colours, with the colourful center against the white and the stems. It is nicely placed within the frame. I took half a star off because it is hard to make out the details of your bee. A nice entry into the contest, well done, thanks for sharing.
