What fabulous colors in the background. However, personally, I like them blended, at least smoothened somewhat. But with your techniques they are wonderful, so is the chair, cellist, and especially the base of the cello. You certainly do great pencil art with seemingly heavy layers, almost like thick pastels.

Beautiful colours here, a little different from your other portraits. Nicely blended and lots of detail in your textures, especially in the fabric of her dress. The shadowing detail adds realism and depth. Nicely composed and balanced. The background really makes this piece stand out, well done

This is a very nice drawing. I like the background and the expression on her face. The shadow across her chin seems a little sharp. I really like your dress, however maybe if it was a shade lighter the cello would stand out a little bit more. But then again maybe that was your intention.

She is a beautiful woman , very elegantly dressed in the strapless gown to play the cello in the morning.
Well rendered with accurate shape and structure, correct proportions. I like her placement within the scene and the background is perfect .

Great drawing of the young cellist that dressed up in a formal dress and it is fully concentrating on the task.

The first aspect I noticed of your daybreak bassist was the rich color in her gown, then how her instrument contrasts as well as becomes enfolded with her...colored pencil came to mind (before you have to half scroll up to read description) I thought it would be something else..it is quite exquisite, you have presented this medium in a way I have not seen
