The hazy atmosphere is making the photograph that much different in its finish and appeal. I love the composition with the flying Arctic tern diagonally occupying the photographic space!! The beak is open and the wings spread- it's a superb click by any standards

A beautiful stop action picture of the Elegant Arctic Tern flying overhead in the evening sky coloured by the setting sun. It's beak open as it voices it's opinion. All movement in it's wings frozen by your fast exposure. Artistic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Living in Alaska one can't deny a skill photographers subjects. I'm happy to a a cardinal or so. You have Arctic Terns. This is a silhouette with some wonderful details. The sun bring a beautiful look to the photo.

I think to take such a photograph is very creative. The hazy sunset has a fabulous background effect and I think much skill needed to get the light management correct to have such a clear result that is not all darkside shadow. The under bird focus is excellent and we can enjoy this unusual angle and detail. The bird itself has a softness that makes it so realistic in viewing it's underbelly and wing feathers. Super result and presentation
