Cleo, this is a beautiful portrait of a Mayan woman praying. I up close view of just her face. There are great fine textures, bold brush strokes, superb choice of monochromatic/ black and white tones which in my opinion makes it more emotive.

Absolutely beautiful. I can almost hear the prayer coming from her lips as she spills her soul out to her Lord. Her face seems grateful for the blessings in her life. But more than anything she just wants to know Him better. Very nice.

This is a powerful work of art. Your technique appears as a pencil drawing but after review I see it is a digital painting. I am not familiar with digital but I do know I love the texture in the praying woman's face. Nicely acomplished.
