Nice, creative thought-out photography with the theme and commentary. So true, something like the Covid virus could be in mind although not known by name. The Spanish flu and another, several years apart I think, did take many many lives, and one of them, a lot of soldiers. I love settings from other times.

It seems that this photo tells two stories.
Story one: this is an well restored historic building. The painting above the owning seems of the same age as the building.
Story two: The store below is a pharmacy office our perhaps a doctors office.
Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The photo is well composed. The tight framing is adequate. The composition is balanced.

A very nice shot and an excellent entry into this contest. I think back in the days depicted they were apothocaries and not pharmacists. They sure had a more hands on approach to perscriptions. Best of luck in the voting.

cool how the advertisers did this. the cut out does give the sign a 3D effect. cool capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this signage is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.
