I like your editing choice to make it in selenium. The add of the burst of light is a beautiful bonus.

The Captain would have gotten a better picture except he cannot swim or hold his breath under water. Don't tell the crew.

Like I don't know whose entry this is-lol! How many memory cards did you fill up, anyway!? This is really spectacular,it has a great not-of-this-world spookiness to it,great decision to leave the color version behind,and the light is an excellent touch,makes me think of the sun's light penetrating into the darkness of the Abyss. Best wishes to you in this contest!
