The fact that you did this in black and white is very cool and make the aligators looks more pre historic, I like it, he looks big especially when you look in the water and see more of him, nice entry for the contest

An interesting Black & white picture of this Alligator resting in the shallows. The black& white gives it's scaly skin the appearance of gravel While it's eye gives me the "willies". Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera & editing techniques & sharp focus.
