They do or perhaps I do lol! The other day I stood there watching for a dragonfly to land , all of a sudden it came right up and landed on my arm! Stayed for a few minutes then flew off, I didn?t see it again that day.

You have pictured this lovely dragonfly so well, and the water lily it is sitting on is just impressive. I like the small droplets on it, and also how well the dragonfly is standing out from the yellow bloom.
The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the insect. The exposure is perfect.
The photo is nicely cropped, and I think it is a fine balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Good eye, so is this like some type of water lily, cause Ive never seen a yellow one, love the transparent wings on this dragonfly, its shows up as camouflage for it I like the water perspirations on the flower

What a beautiful capture of the Lilly with its vivid colors and rain-like drops, along with the detailed capture of the Dragonfly, with even its transparency of its wings showing the colors beneath or to the side, yet it maintains its yellowish, clear-like detailed wing colors.
