A very nice shot. I like the way the horse is framed by the arched passage and think the cobblestone path is great. Fine details and good colors. Best of luck in the contest.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of the guard and his handsome horse. Both look immaculate in your nice photo. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

'Way Cool',Brenda! : )
As photography of this sort fascinates me I'm really enjoying this fine looking picture of this ceremonially attired mounted guardsman that you've presented us with!
It's certainly a 'Good Show',my friend!

Great explanation and beautiful shot, I love horses as I owned lots by myself so I can feel perfectly to sit on his place lol
great frame choice, wonderful close up, sharp in details - a special moment - nicely presented

I think that horses are such magnificent animals.
This is a beautiful horse and I love that this one is a Calvary horse standing guard.
You have good focus on the horse and guard, the image is clear. There are a few bright spots on the horse, it's left ear and it looks like the top part of the bridle , there is also a bit of pixelation especially over the top portion of this image.
I would guess that you were at the limit of your cameras shooting distance and possibly cropped to enlarge , that will cause pixelation. Itâ??s still a very interesting image, itâ??s not something we see every day.
I appreciate the opportunity to view !

Thank you for letting me know. I updated my review, unfortunately the pixelation is still an issue. You want to avoid cropping to enlarge an image. It always causes pixelation if the image is enlarged too much.

Thanks Pat for that tip. I am beginning to realise position can be an issue. I have a Nikon my granddaughter gave me but cant get the hang of it. My Smartphone seems to do better.
