Nice entry for this contest! I can see the river is cold and the frost has formed on the rocks.

This icy sight makes me freezing, just looking at your landscape. The snow and ice on the rocks and the shores of the river impressive. The game of sunlight and shadows is intriguing. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of light and color and the refinement of detail. I like your POV. The diagonal flow of the river pleases the eyes of the viewer. The landscape is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

Literally frozen river. It's an interesting composition and an apt entry for the Cold photography contest. Such clicks bring to the fore exciting facets of nature. Water freezing to ice and then ice melting back- so goes the cycle of nature. Best wishes for the contest

Winter is often described as drab, but this depiction of it is wonderful. My eye enters at the cascading falls and follows the water down to the best part-the swirls of water with their movement and color!

This is a gorgeous setting, with the colors blue and greenish, along with the whites and browns for the "cold" contest. I never care for the browns in winter but that's the way it is and may cause us to appreciate more the other colors.
