A wonderful bird and nature image. Great close up profile capture of this Steller's Jay with its black and blue feathers. Nice clear eye and beak. It is lovely that you befriend these birds so that they trust you. Great capture Pat and thanks for sharing!

As good as the squirrel photo. The clarity is so sharp. The blurr green background work great with this photo also. Congrats on getting all time best. You deserve it

I think this is a truly pretty bird Pat, and you have pictured it so well. The bird is posing for you in such a lovely way, and I especially like how well you have captured the shiny eye. It is also standing out from the softened background in an excellent way.

The photo is very sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in the feathers of the bird. The exposure is just perfect.

The photo is nicely cropped, and the bird has got a fine placement off to the right. I think this is a lovely and well taken bird portrait, and with an excellent DOF.

You always back your posted photographs with the needed description and details. It helps a viewer like me with limited knowledge about birds to profit and appreciate the shots taken in a much better way. Like, this beautiful jay bird is relaxed and if it were alarmed or anxious, the crest would have got raised up!! So kind of you to feed him daily and he obliges by posing so cutely for you!! Heartwarming- kudos

The saturation of the blue at the bottom is breathtaking and the bird it's looks so focused and strong yet pristine. I can't imagine getting close to such a lovely animal. Beautiful photo and good luck:)

What a beautiful bird this is. And you have captured it in a great way.

The colors are natural and wonderfully rendered. The focus is spot on with the blurred background perfectly focusing the attention on the Jay.

Position in the frame is great with the pose adding so much character.

Beautiful work Pat ~ Steve

Beautifully lit capture of this jay with its handsome colors and attentive profiling. Love the lighting, shallow depth of field as well as framing. Your exposure of the blacks in his plumage so we see it's detailing is quite beautiful.
