This little squirrel looks so sweet eating its peanut, and I especially like how well the fine shine of its fur is brought out. Also the eye is well captured, and it is standing out from the background in an excellent way.
The photo is pin sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in the fur of the squirrel. The exposure is spot on.
The cropping is perfect, and the squirrel has got a fine placement off to the left. This is a truly sweet, lovely and well taken photo Pat, and with an excellent DOF.

Looks like one of my red squirrels that have been absent from the feeders for a bit;ours would raid the bowl of sunflower seeds we put out for the chipmunks but pass up the peanuts that were there ,too! this is a delightful photo of this little guy, very well focused, love the bright eye, the green background contrasts nicely with his reddish fur!

This little squirrel is very cute and lucky you to be do near him. It's,a great shot, he looks quite occupied with the breaking open off the but. I like your position and scene construction. It gives,a ckear view ofcthe activity. Nicely centred,, clear and natural colours.

The little Squirrel is indeed cute. Apparently it invented a smart way of opening the peanut. Just as people; the want of something makes us experimenting and finding new ways of doing what we want done. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the sharpness of detail and the realism of color and light. The spiky hairs at the tail and the claws on its fingers are especial interesting. The Squirrel is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

You deserve a "6" with the way you were able to photograph him so photogenitically and up-close. His somewhat bushy and happy tail, his bright eyes, and other colors clearly seen while eating the peanut which by now looks a little like a special cake of bread, is really rather outstanding work. Love the background and the flooring or ground is nice, clearly showing the dropped crumbs.

Beautiful! It looks as though you have posed this pretty chipmunk in your studio! I love the green background that gives this guy such highlight. Your focus is outstanding and the details are clearly defined, especially his fluffy tail and eyes. Great work, so fun to see!
