It could almost be abstract art Painting. The repetitive shapes of the cranes as well as repetitive color and then it's a set off by the yellow building on the right. The colors and the layout is exceptional.

Nik,
A beautiful & interesting picture of the Seaforth Docks in Liverpool, with the 4 red & white cranes there ready to loaf or unload the container ships like the one on the right. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting that tie up alongside. Taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I like the position and composition of this view of Derek's on the quay at Liverpool. The pink is such a contrast to the blues. The visual is creative giving a sense of depth and distance within the layers of ground and river.

There seems to be a slight blurr which may be intentional, or it be it's me, I have just had laser treatment to one eye and waiting for the other. It's watering a bit.

Wonderful job and good info that we that have or haven't been near this scene to know about other places. Thanks for sharing. I've bought software from London but never been to any part thereof. he red opening docks are lovely as are the sky and water portion. The sand is okay.

Nice industrial photograph of these big cranes interrupting the beautiful sky.
The front with the water and sand is an interesting contrast.
Great presentation!

These red cranes are really standing out against all the blue, and I especially like that you included the sand in the foreground. It adds a fine contrast, and also depths to the photo.

The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in the cranes, and the exposure is very good.

The format and framing is fine, and with the cranes off to the right, it is a fine balance in the composition. Indeed a great looking and well taken photo.
