Your close-up capture is intriguing. Your focus was spot-on. The Orchid is crisp captured. You made the glass disappearing. It looks as if the orchid blooms in a wilderness area. Your photo has good depth and is excellent exposed. I appreciate the realism of color and light. The Orchid is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Your focus on the flower is spot on and sharp, and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen. The colors are nice and natural, and the exposure is perfect.
The cropping is working well, and I like the centered position of the flower within the frame. All together a lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Hi Annie, after reading your comments I took a fresh look at this image. I agreed that it looked busy, especially in the lower part. So I worked on it again and think I "relaxed" the image a bit. Thanks for your suggestion.
