Nice sunset Jurina and the seagull was a bonus, although think a flock of birds would have been better, still you could have been waiting a long time for that,so this is still a nice overall photo...Brian

I love those incoming waves! It looks warm !
Well captured with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is good, colors and tones appear natural. I see the gull flying across the sunset!
Well composed and presented!

A very nice shot. The gull is very nicely placed. I like the colors and the cropping but not so much the white vignette. More than 60 years ago, when I was learning darkroom technique, I was taught that the eye is naturally attracted to the brightest area of an image and to avoid bright objects near the edges of a print because the eye seeks those areas and then tends to wander off the image. That is the basis for vignettes which darken the edges and tend to make the viewer's attention remain on the image. I am sure there are times when a white vignette is appropriate (mostly in high key images) and my tastes personal.

Thank you so much for the valuable feedback. I never took classes on this subject, mostly using intuition. For some reason I felt that the rock and darker sky were making the whole image darker, taking away from the orange and glitter on the water.
I appreciate your expertise and some long experience that you have shared.
    thank you, Jirina

After looking at the posting again, I decided to minimize the white only to reduce the darkness not showing the white. you right it does looks better.
    Thank you again.

This is Stunning!! Your crisp, clear shot shows beautiful dof and wonderfully pleasing details of the waves in action! The lovely colors draw one in and the bird highlighted by the setting sun is gorgeous! Such great work, wish I had a 6star to give you!
