The fawn is lovely. I like its alert and observant expression. Apparently, the little guy is not afraid of the camera, but interested in what you are doing. Your photo has good depth and is excellent focused and exposed. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the sharpness of detail. Even the fine hears at the ears are crisp. The reflection in the dark eye and at the nose are especial intriguing. The fawn is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

The photo is very sharp, and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the little one. I can also so well the fine textures of the fur, and the exposure is spot on.
The format and tight framing is perfect, and the animal is so well placed in the photo. A truly adorable an well taken photo Lee Ann, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.
