Wow! Amazing shot, a great entry for this contest! The details you captured in the wings is incredible! The reflected light really shows their beauty. The background is painted beautifully, great job blurring it out, but leaving some sparkle. The skimmer is well placed in the frame, makes for a great composition! All the best in the contest

A wonderful entry to the Insect Contest. A magnificent capture of this twelve spot dragonfly. Excellent clarity and lighting to see all the exquisite detail and markings. Also love the background bokeh. All the best in the contest!
