Wow! I love the colors you used on your sky, interesting choice! The waves are very impressive, I recently painted a seascape and it was not easy!!! Good luck and great job:)

It is a truly lovely seascape you have created Jewell, and I especially like the beautiful colorful sky with great looking clouds. Also the sea is well done with the incoming waves topped with white, and lovely colors from blue to green. The birds in flight add interest.
The brush work is excellent with a fine flow in the strokes, and the color pallet is lovely. You have also used high lights really well, and everything is done paying a good attention to details.
The format and framing is perfect, and I like that a bit of a sandy beach is included in the foreground. It is a very good balance in the composition. I think this is a truly lovely and well done painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I love a raging sea at the best of times. To have it painted is quite something. The colours you have used are wonderful in the clouds of the sky and the green of the sea waves and the blue in the distance. Beautifully capture in oils and a wonderful composition. All the best in the contest Jewell.
