an excellent capture especially when considering that it was taken at night; nice pose of the fox with good details; would be excellent without the dark shadows;

    Fred,
    Merci beaucoup mille fois for your complementary review on this Vixen on my lawn last night filling up on scattered Sunflower seeds. Her head up as she watched Jesse, barking loudly inside the Patio door. The shadows were cast by the pergola above the decking. She ran off soon after I took this picture.

That is so cool that the Fox actually visits your garden, the red Fox I have seen here are so timid and fast moving , they would be difficult to photograph.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones appear natural, I like the way it is looking at you! Well composed and presented!

    Pat,
    Thanks a million for your complementary review on this vixen on my lawn. She came either along the road or more likely along the river bank just 50 yards from my house (There are 4 houses in the Terrace between my house & the one nearest to the river)...These Urban Foxes are NOT afraid of humans.

A beautiful fox. I know there are foxes around my place but I have never seen one in my yard. Can you attract them with food? I imagine chicken would be their favorite.

    Mike,
    Thanks a million for your complementary review on this vixen on my lawn last night all that was on my lawn were sunflower seeds, though I did fins the feathers of a Blackbird or Starling higher up the lawn this morning. I live just 50 yards from a small river that the Fox uses to go from one place to the next by day & night, after dark it's quiet common to see then running along the roads. On the Dodder they are attracted by Chicken Legs & Dog Chews/treats.
