A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of both the bloom and butterfly. Colours, textures and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

This is just lovely LeeAnn, the white Datura flower is beautiful and makes the perfect landing spot for this butterfly, I love the way the light is coming through the white flower and the butterfly wings.
Well focused, this image is sharp and clear, exposure is correct, the whites show good detail, the butterfly colors appear natural.
Well composed against the dark background, well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

A beautiful shot. I love the way the light seems to shine through the locoweed flower as well as the monarch. A fine composition with great colors.

Your mixed media is amazing. The flower and the butterfly seem to have fairy lights inside, which illuminate the upper part of the flower and the wings of the insect. The glowing colors are fascinating. Your photo is excellent focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. The dark background amplifies the glow exquisitely. The flower and the butterfly are perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Oooh! Datura! Now there's an interesting plant! ( and a potentially Dangerous one too! )
I wonder if that Butterfly is hoping to benefit from the blossom's alleged 'hallucinogenic' properties?
That's a fascinating image,LeeAnn!
A 'Good Show' indeed!
