I like the the green background it helps to bring out the sharp colors of the bird, the entire scene is balanced really well the lighting is perfect.

Lovely, lovely, lovely... the more I study thos little bird the more I see from his little head and features .. his feathers and wings and markings to his spruce tail all in excellent focus. The colours are natural. It is balanced and well presented, I particularly like that bit of green and yellow at the bottom, his perch.

Thank you so much Brenda! THe first time I saw this bird it was very afraid and flew off, these past few weeks it has come and at least one other Boreal came too and they are now comfortable with me and my camera.

Thank you so much Mary! This bird and at least one other boreal have become regulars at my feeders! They are getting pretty comfortable with me and my camera now.

I enjoy the realism of color and light and the sharpness of detail. I even see single feathers. The light reflection within the eye is especial interesting. The bird stands well out from the neutral background. The photo is excellent composed and framed. The chickadee is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
