Nice choice for the faith art contest. An interesting and touching take from a soldiers point of view. In battle more than ever they need angles watching over them. You were a soldier correct? This is very well drawn, has a great initial impact as well. The spot light really makes it stand out. All the best in the contest.

Very powerful and very well done Mark. The Clergy are such an important part to our troops. The wisdom and support they give should never be overlooked. I love the way you have lit the scene, drowning out everything but what is important here. Good luck in the contest, its a wonderful entry.

The lines are crisp and clean with vibrant colors and a great set up. The subjects are set up dramatically, which gives off a rushed vibe and alters the setting. Great work!

A very Heart felt drawing here. I'm not sure of he is saluting or praying. I will believe praying since that is the only thing to bring true peace. Maybe the soldier made it through.

Barbara look real close on the helmet of the guy kneeling..there is a cross there. that represents in the military that he is the Chaplin. he consults and prays for all people no matter what their religion is. in war he has an impact on supporting the troops just like a medic. thanks for the good review.

The soldier is dying? It is a very difficult idea. If he is Christian, he has broken the vow,-the gun- thou shalt not kill. even if it was at his countries request to do so. Did the people of that country ask Americans to come and fight there? Who made Americans the policemen of the world? but death is death- Hence the twin towers revenge. My GCSE examination pupils are just studying various war poets!

Your opinion. This has nothing to do with all that noise that you are talking about. When soldiers are praying before going into a conflict .they are not praying to kill the enemy. The soldier is praying that they will survive..hoping that it is a Mexican standoff and no one gets hurt..only a few times that happens..they are praying to kill..they are praying to survive. All that politics stuff don't mean diddle when bullets are flying.wink. thanks for the review

ah, I thought he was dying, and I know from my time over there, americans are very religious, much more religious than we are. Not opinions, teacher needing to look around a subject, as the kids are studying war over there /the poem seems about Vietnam to me/ and over here, looters when bombings happen.
