A landscape that has it all-beauty, serenity, distant hills and closer contours, sunlight peaking through a tumultuous sky to illuminate patches of green. Just beautiful.

Very nice capture and minor processing. The subject suggests moving toward the hills. My suggestions are to increase the contrast a little to accentuate the hills, crop the image so the hits are most of the way to the top of the frame and possible remove some of the "purple ?" from the cloud cover.

A beautiful picture of the road winding it way through the Derbyshire countryside the sun's rays lighting up patches in the green fields below through the breaks in the rain clouds overhead. It brings back memories of the time I used to be driven by my mother through that countryside. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

A really nice capture of the Derbyshire dales with a lovely sky for the background. Well proportioned following the rule of thirds and nice depth to the image. Well done

Stunning landscape Nik you have composed it nicely although may have cropped the branches on right. Personal preference. The stormy clouds look awesome against the green of the hills and fields.

This landscape is beautiful. The green pastures beneath the cloudy sky are impressive. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has impressive depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The enhancements are adequate.; How the road lead our eyes into the background pleases our equilibrium. The landscape is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

A very nice inviting region and again with such a special heavenly moment that the picture is otstanding just by the natural content - excellent frame choice, super distance and excellent angle and position showing us the tiny seeming normal street guiding us into the higher realm of that region
excellent sharpness and perfect contrast - a beautiful place in England for sure as nature is always attractive - thanks for sharing

beautiful landscape. Did you go to Speedwell Cavern which is one of the four show caves in Castleton, Derbyshire. The cave system consists of a horizontal lead miners' adit 200 metres below ground leading to the cavern itself, a limestone cave. I used to belong to the Sheffield University Geology Group and we visited places, though the longest cave I ever visited was a coal mine in Donetsk our twin city, which we visited on a visit with the University and the Council. The miners eating their lunch stared at us, gone out. And the factory visit was something amazing, never heard so much noise.
