The attitude and pose of this guy is adorable - most excellent capture. The darkened background really make every detail of him stand out. Also, most hummingbird photos that I see capture the bird (or birds) flying around. Nice to see one in repose for a change.

Really nice bird capture.
The colors are very nice and complementary. The background is very dark and it appears as though the bird and what it's stand-in on were selected and place back into a darkened image.May I suggest that some of the background be lightened so that one may see more of the image?

Your photo is perfect focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. I am impressed by the sharpness of detail and the realism of color and light. The dark background emphasizes the bird exquisitely. The Hummingbird is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

By the birds expression I'm thinking he is saying " do I know you?" Lol..nice capture. The clarity is great..the angle of the shot of this colorful bird is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.
