Nik,
A beautiful picture of Abraham Lincoln's Log Cabin with it's Moss covered roof & shed in the "Historic Reconstruction of the Site where Lincoln lived & worked before he became President. Beautiful & peaceful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Susan.

Your very kind and nice review is appreciated! This not the building he lived in, but a cabin in the region. I will at some point post an image of the house he lived in.

A beautiful reconstruction and an excellent shot. I like the weathered look of the wood and think the thatched roof is fantastic. A well composed image with excellent colors.

A bit of history and it shows of the cabin well, although i might have stepped back a tad to not get the tightness of the cabin, also i might be tempted to slightly darken it or even use b/w or sepia just to make it older in this...Brian

Another lovely shot, nicely framed. Personally I would have moved back a little just to get more of the surroundings. Not a criticism, just my own opinion. Well done

A piece of history neatly captured. Although details of the cabin and shed are probably been seen in this close-up (and they are quite something!), personally I would like to see some space around the buildings, perhaps giving the viewer a bit of setting and less in their face. Nonetheless, it is quite a sight as is and the history you gave behind the photo is excellent.

Not only is this logwood cottage cabin not only so elegantly beautiful, it has a special appeal due to its Lincoln legacy. It's such a wonderful composition. It makes for such a wonderful viewing experience- kudos

Looks like home..lol..the clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this old house is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Beautiful - I got a very similar picture from Switzerland
Excellent composition, great angel and close up to show simplicity and the external nice green shifted roof, adding the entire building into a part of nature
a very harmonious picture making me smile again as I just love these natural adapted creations
Super clear and sharp with the perfect contrast and again a great initial impact , well presented xoxo

Great photograph of this presidential residence.
The cabin is naturally blending its the nature and it is presented with great composition, colors and details.
Despite its age it looks like it is well build and probably at its time it was very livable cabin.
Thank you for sharing.

I am very grateful for your nice review! Abe did not live in this cabin. He lived in quite an elegant house which I got shots of.

Very nice, it looks like it will last a little more, although that moss on the roof must be eating away at the wood and that roof will cave in eventually, I like how you included the outhouse, nice photo
