Great work here!! Photoshop can be frustrating, but you have utilized it well. Nice choice of subject for this project. The ice on the trees is so beautiful, I can almost hear it clicking and cracking in the wind. Red in the foregound draws the eye right in. The image is well balanced. All the best in the contest. Thanks for sharing

So pretty, all that frost surely makes the trees and the foliage stand out for sure, I still dont know how to do selective colouring, I go for the natural selection when I entered this contest lol,,great work

I think this is a beautiful entry into a contest like this, but when reading your notes, and looking at your photo, you might have misunderstood the concept. If you already have red colors in your photo, you bring them out, and leave the rest in black and white. But to me it looks like you have added the red colors in this photo. I do however like what you have done, and it is a such a lovely scene.
The photo is sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in the trees. The exposure is perfect.
I also like the way you have cropped the photo, and that the trees are filling the frame. A truly lovely and well taken and edited photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Thank you for reviewing this photo. I didn?t misunderstand- the original of this photo had red and yellow tones throughout the grass and brick wall and all else was dark and light. I converted to black and white and then brought the color back plus some hue and saturation. There wasn?t clear definition in the brief of the contest so I did what I felt was best to comply. Thanks again!

What you describe is just what I meant. You say it was yellow colors as well, and these are not brought out. But as I said, the result is truly lovely, and you are more than welcome for the review.
